Courtney Shadegg is the senior director of federal affairs at Philanthropy Roundtable. Prior to joining the Roundtable, Courtney was the director of strategic communications for Sen. Joni Ernst’s leadership committee, where she oversaw the Senate Republican Conference messaging and media campaigns.
At the nexus of policy and communications Courtney has worked in government, private and nonprofit sectors to transform dialogue and drive successful outcomes for policy initiatives.
Previously, Courtney owned her own consulting firm working with a range of clients, and she served as a legislative aid and director of operations for U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Courtney graduated from the University of Southern California and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in business administration.
